A Luxurious Stay at Lowes Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Arizona - A Full Review and Tour

Introduction

In this blog post, we’ll take you on a full tour and review of our stay at the Lowes Ventana Canyon Resort! This stunning resort was booked through Amex's Fine Hotels and Resorts collection, which offered us exclusive benefits such as a room upgrade, daily breakfast for two, a $100 resort credit, and 4 pm late check out.

Location

The Lowes Ventana Canyon Resort is located in the beautiful Catalina Foothills of Tucson, Arizona, and offers easy access to some of the city's most popular attractions, such as the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area.

Check-In

Upon arriving at the resort, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff who checked us in quickly and efficiently. We were delighted to find out that we had been upgraded to a room with a view of the Catalinas, and they also explained all of our FHR benefits, including how breakfast worked in the morning. It was a short ride up the elevators to our 4th floor room.

The Room

Our room was a base level room, which was beautifully decorated and furnished with luxurious amenities such as a comfortable king-size bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a cozy seating area. We also had a private balcony where we could enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains and the pool deck below.

Amenities

The Lowes Ventana Canyon Resort offers a variety of amenities to ensure a luxurious and relaxing stay. We enjoyed spending time hiking through the Catalina Mountains from their trailhead located right on property (it’s Federal land so it’s amazingly preserved). In addition, there are two 18-hole golf courses, as well as a full service spa, gym, two pools (including a lap pool), and even an astronomer available some nights, which was really fun for us. Overall, there’s a ton to do on property for a long weekend stay.

Dining

The resort offers several dining options, including the Flying V Bar & Grill, the Canyon Cafe, and the Cascade Lounge. We had the opportunity to dine at the Flying V Bar & Grill, which served delicious Southwestern-inspired cuisine with a stunning view of the mountains.

Conclusion

Our stay at the Lowes Ventana Canyon Resort was nothing short of exceptional. From the luxurious amenities to the stunning views and excellent service, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay in Tucson, the Lowes Ventana Canyon Resort should be at the top of your list!
